I am using flex builder 3 for developing applications of air .. Am i doing right ? IS there any other way to develop AIR application ?
This is my first day with AIR , please help me ..

You don't have to use Flex builder it just makes taking your Flex app to the desktop easier buy using the integrated tools and SDK.

You can also write AIR apps using other Adobe technologies Flash CS3 or Dreamweaver CS3 (XHTML & JavaScript).

If you don't want to purchase any IDE to build your AIR apps you can just get the AIR SDK and use any text editor to do your code.

I think there are plugins for IDE's like APTANA and FlashDevelop. There might be others too.

No not at all. If you have Flex 3 then that is one of the best ways to create an AIR application.

I was just saying that there are no fixed ways of creating AIR apps, it depends on what IDE you prefer and how you work as an individual. Also if you don't already own Flex or Flash then you can start building AIR applications today for free using the SDKs.

Thanks .. I have been using Flex 3 for web application . Well in u have any tutorial on air please let me know . thanks again
