Hi everybody,

I recently switched to Flex 4. I'm working on small projects, so the I'm doing also the graphics. I just started to try all the possibilities of the skins and designs in Flex 4, and here is one problem.

I created a custom text input, with two parts: a background, and the RichEditableText, which obviously the component needs.

Here is the problem: if I reach with my text (editing) the end of the Component, it goes down and start a new line, creating a very bad looking clipping and scrolling effect. I would like that the RichEditableText continues on the same line, clipping the first chars on the left, like a normal TextInput, but I couldn't find anything like this on the docs.

I hope the problem is clear...thanks in advance for any help

Here they are:

In the first, I show you the Custom Text Input, and a normal one...in the first, I still didn't reach the end of the component with my text. In the textinput, I did, and the exceeding text is just clipped left, perfectly.

In the second screenshot, I'm editing the Custom Text input text, and when I reach the right border, it started a new line, clipping up all the text. I don't want this, but I can accept this, except for the fact that, for each char edited more, the clipping changes, centering the line, then the text, then again the line...it is very bad looking...
